INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
When Parkway schools are closed due to bad weather, scheduled daytime events at the church are canceled. A decision regarding evening church events will be made by 3:30 P.M. and notification will be posted on the church website, on the answering machine, and sent to radio/television stations as deemed appropriate. If Parkway schools cancel classes during the course of the day due to bad weather, all evening events at the church are canceled. All members are encouraged not to take unnecessary risks and to check with the church office on bad weather days (especially if a storm begins during the day).
Sundays - In the event of bad weather services may be canceled and notification will be sent to members via the automated calling system (Phone Tree). Notice will also be posted on the church website, on the answering machine and sent to radio/television stations. Your personal safety is most important in deciding whether or not to attend services.
