Preschool and Mother's Day Out are closed today, January 31 due to inclement weather.

Our Philosophy:
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
Our Story:
Parkway Baptist Preschool and Mother’s Day Out began as a ministry of the church more than forty years ago serving parents and preschool age children. Our purpose is to minister to boys and girls and their parents in the name of Jesus Christ by lovingly helping to develop the total personality of each individual child – emotionally, socially, spiritually and academically. We continue to offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum that engages and encourages a child to grow and mature in a loving, Christian environment.
Our experienced and qualified teachers have a passion for early childhood education and plan each day thoughtfully in order to achieve a balance of teacher-led and child-led activities and lessons. A hands-on program enables them to facilitate a balanced schedule with focused and structured activities such as circle time, story time, and table work followed by opportunities for exploration during projects, arts and crafts activities, center activities, and more. Learning through play is encouraged as children develop higher level thinking, strengthen language and social skills, cultivate empathy, and make sense of their world. Our goal is to provide age appropriate experiences through a curriculum designed to nurture the children as we work in partnership with our families.
Our Purpose:
To minister to boys and girls and their parents in the name of Jesus Christ by lovingly helping to develop the total personality of each individual child - emotionally, socially, spiritually, and academically.
Our program is designed to serve "parents who want early Christian training and education for their children prior to kindergarten." We strive to "provide an atmosphere and environment for young children that will help them begin life in happy, healthy, caring surroundings." (WEE Administrative Guide, Robert A. Couch, Convention Press, Nashville, TN 1980)
