Men's Bible Study

Iron Sharpens Iron Men's Ministry meets for Bible study on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:15 PM in Room W202, and on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM in Room E101. We spend our time studying God's Word in a large group setting then meet in small groups to go deeper in the Word and life together. The goal of our time of Bible study is to increase in the knowledge of the Word and to hold one another accountable as we live our lives together as men of God.

SUNDAY NIGHTS, begins September 9

Do you sometimes wonder if God hears-let alone answers-your prayers? Do you ask yourself, "What's the point of praying?" Do you long to experience the power of prayer in your daily life? Find the keys to an effective prayer life in this compelling study that explores God's expectations of you and His promises to you when it comes to prayer. We will take an in-depth look at Scripture to learn key principles of prayer and gain a deeper understanding of how prayer can draw you closer to His heart. We will be using the Precept Ministries The Essentials of Effective Prayer, by Kay Arthur, and David & BJ Lawson to help guide us. Led by Scott Niemeyer.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS, begins September 5

Misconceptions about God abound. But they don’t have to. God has revealed His character in Scripture, illuminating the attributes that define Him. While we, being finite creatures, can never truly comprehend everything that God is, we should study what He Himself has said.

Come join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. as we study the attributes of God from this study by Steven Lawson. Led by Joey Toms and Brandon Cole.
